About Research and IPR

‘Research’ is an innovative and discipline work undertaken to enhance the stock of knowledge. Research is an organized investigation of a problem where an investigator attempts to gain solution to a problem. The prime purpose of research are discovery, interpretation, documentation and research and development of methods and systems for the advancement of human knowledge. The objective of genuine research is to generate and propagate the new knowledge, rather than exhibiting the existing concepts in a new form.

The research is conducted in a systematic way such as:

  • Research problem identification
  • Literature survey/review
  • Research purpose specifications
  • Research questions identification
  • Conceptual framework of stating hypotheses
  • Research methodologies and data collection
  • Research data interpreting, analyzing and verifying
  • Reporting and evaluating research
  • Research findings and recommendations.

Research Objectives:

  • To explore the unknown and unlock new possibilities
  • To search the real facts and attain the new thoughts
  • To associate the knowledge with selected demographic variables

Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)

Intellectual property pertains the originality of the human intellect such as literacy, technical or scientific creations. IPR refers to the legal rights given to the inventor or creator to protect his invention or creation for a certain period of time. There are several intellectual property protections like patent, copyright, trademark etc. IPR is prerequisite for better identification, planning, commercialization, rendering. It provides a mechanism of handling infringement, piracy, and unauthorized use.
