Pune Vidyarthi Griha is a parent organization which has been serving the society through education to socio economically weak students for more than a century. It has a rich legacy of social service and a history of empowering the needy sections of the society. The institute follows the same tradition and aims to create socially aware and responsible citizens. The institute offers a high-quality academic environment with qualified, dedicated and experienced faculty members. The institute uses modern ICT tools along with traditional classroom teaching methods to enhance the learning outcomes. The institute has well-equipped facilities such as classrooms, tutorial rooms, seminar hall, laboratories, computer centre, drawing hall and central workshop. The central library has a large collection of reference books, journals, newspapers, handbooks, e-books and project reports. The institute also encourages and supports the students to participate in sports and cultural activities. It provides various student support services through mentoring, co-curricular & extracurricular activities, seminars, workshops, career counselling & other activities.

The institute helps the students to gain practical exposure and industry experience through internships, field visits and industry sponsored projects. The teachers act as mentors to the students and guide them in academic and personal matters. Many of the alumni have pursued higher education by clearing the state, national & international level examinations and secured admission in reputed higher educational institutes in India and abroad. Many of the alumni are working in prestigious companies & few others have become successful entrepreneurs. PVGCOE & SSDIOM, Nashik has adopted a student centric approach and strives for their holistic development. The institute offers a low-cost engineering degree course for only 60 thousand rupees. College also provides detailed information about students from SC, ST and minority communities. This enables the college to reach out to the students who are eligible for various scholarships offered by the state and central governments. Some of these scholarships are post matric scholarship, minority scholarship and so on. Pune Vidyarthi Griha is a student-centric institution that has been serving the underprivileged and economically backward students from the tribal areas and especially orphans. The institute has implemented a well-established system to mentor the students. The mentor-mentee scheme is designed to help students with their educational challenges and goals. Each mentor is assigned to a batch of 20 students and provides guidance on academic issues, extra lectures, and doubts. The scheme also aims to improve the student’s attendance and discipline. The parents can also benefit from the scheme by getting regular updates on their ward’s academic progress and performance. The mentor-mentee scheme fosters a positive relationship between the teacher and the student.

The Training & Placement Cell of the institute offers career opportunities to the students. At the institute, we offer a range of courses that aim to enhance the skills and competencies of our students. The institute has collaborated with TATA Strive which provides a free self-paced Google Certification Program for 3rd Year Engineering & 1st year Management Students. The Institute has signed MoU with TNS India Foundation. Under the MoU of TNS, they have given the Centre of Excellence to the institute. TNS has deputed two distinguish trainers to groom students in soft skills & technical part. The training programs are designed to meet the needs and expectations of various industries and sectors, as well as to prepare our students for the challenges and opportunities of the future. Whether it is communication, leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, creativity, or innovation, these courses will help our students to develop and excel in these areas. Deputed trainers are experienced and qualified professionals who use interactive and engaging methods to deliver the content and feedback. Our institute is committed to providing quality education and training that will equip our students with the knowledge and confidence they need to succeed in their chosen fields.

Internship is a key component of our roadmap. Various on-campus activities and training programs continuously sharpen students’ skill sets. Our institute is always looking for opportunities to collaborate with corporate partners who share our vision of empowering young learners with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the 21st century. One of the ways we do this is by inviting corporate professionals to participate in our training programs as mentors, facilitators, or guest speakers. Through their corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, they can contribute to our social mission and make a positive impact on our students’ lives. We are grateful for their support and expertise, and we welcome more corporate professionals to join us in this endeavour. We systematically conduct Aptitude Training program which is the initial step in the selection process of major recruiters. Our aim is to encourage students to work in teams and take up various roles in technical/non-technical events.
