About Department
The Computer Engineering department has 60 students and a branch code 533024510. We focus on providing a well-rounded education with a strong faculty to prepare students for the evolving world. Our goal is not just to teach current knowledge but also to equip students with the skills needed for a changing global landscape.Considering India’s demographic profile, with 550 million individuals under 25, and the projection that one-fourth of the global workforce will be Indian by 2030, we understand the potential impact on both the country and the world. - PO1. Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
- PO2. Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, research literature and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences and engineering sciences.

1.International Girl Child Day
On the occasion of International Girl’s child day Computer department has organized the event on 11th oct 2023 where students decorate the hall, entrance and design innovative selfie point which were suitable to event theme.

2.Data Privacy day
Data Privacy Day, celebrated on January 28th, highlights the importance of protecting personal data in our digital age. It encourages education, cybersecurity measures, and legislative action to safeguard privacy rights.
3.Quiz Competition
An Inter-House Quiz competition in collaboration with ACES held on 10th February 2023 for the students of PVG’s College of Engineering and S.S.Dhamankar Institute of Management, Nasik.

5.Teachers day Celebration
The teacher’s day was celebrated by the students of Computer department at PVGCOE &SSD,IOM campus on 5th September 2022 . The day is also celebrated to pay tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, former President of the country and a visionary educator.Students decorated the classroom with the decorative items on the eve of Teacher’s day and the faculties were welcomed warmly.The programmed was started with god Saraswati pujan by Prof. J.Y. Kapadnis (HOD COMP). Each of the faculties was given a gift as a token of gratitude to show the acknowledgement and recognition of the hard work put by the teachers towards their development.
6.Freshers Party Celebration
The fresher’s party was organized by the students of our computer department at PVGCOE SSD IOM, Campus at 22th april 2022. Students decorated the hall with the decorative items on the eve of Fresher’s party and the faculties and newly admitted students were welcomed warmly. We also choose Mr. Fresher and Miss Fresher by the competition organized by students.
