An “World IPR Day” Program was organized by Mechanical Engineering Department of PVG’s COE & SSDIOM, Nashik on 26th April 2025.

Description of Activity:

World Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Day is celebrated globally on 26th April every year to raise awareness about the importance of protecting intellectual property and encouraging innovation. The Mechanical Engineering Student Association (MESA) of Pune Vidyarthi Griha’s College of Engineering & Shrikrushna S. Dhamankar Institute of Management, Nashik proudly organized awareness session to commemorate this occasion on 26th April 2025.

Celebration of International Literacy Day

Description of Activity:

To celebrate Literacy Day on 17th October 2024, engineering students from Pune Vidyarthi Griha’s College of Engineering & shrikrushna S. Dhamankar Institute of Management, Nashik organized a unique event that combined education and entertainment through a dramatic performance at Joshi Athavale School, Nashik. The aim was to highlight the importance of literacy and its impact on individuals and society.

Celebration of Fresher’s Party

Description of Activity:

The Fresher’s Party 2024 was organized by the Mechanical Engineering Student Association (MESA) on 21st Oct 2024, to welcome the incoming batch of students and create an opportunity for them to interact with seniors, faculty members, and peers. This event was designed to introduce the new students to the college culture, foster a sense of community, and kick off their academic journey with a fun and engaging celebration.

Celebration of Teachers Day

Description of Activity:

Teachers’ Day is celebrated annually on 5th September in honor of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a renowned philosopher and educator who served as the second President of India. This day is dedicated to recognizing and appreciating the invaluable contributions of teachers to society and the shaping of future generations.

Additionally, World IPR Day serves as an opportunity to address emerging challenges in the field of intellectual property and to advocate for stronger enforcement mechanisms and policies to safeguard intellectual property rights globally

Description of Activity:

The objective of International Literacy Day is to raise awareness about the importance of literacy, promote literacy as a fundamental human right, and highlight the need for efforts to eradicate illiteracy worldwide. It serves as a platform to advocate for improved literacy education and skills development, with the goal of empowering individuals and communities to participate fully in society and achieve their potential. Additionally, it encourages governments, organizations, and individuals to take action in support of literacy initiatives and programs.

Mr. Nikhil Belsure introduced the technology of Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) through a brief timeline. He also talked about different Additive Manufacturing processes. Webinar also shed light on innovative parts made with 3D Printing. Finally, speaker shared required skill sets required for successful career in 3D Printing. The webinar session ended with Q&A Session. The session created awareness about the Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) among the students. Institute has received invitation for visiting Imaginarium India. The techniques can be practically understood to students by actually visiting Imaginarium India. Faculty members also got good insights on 3D Printing.
